Moon Shadowed Milk

Lindsay is one of the dearest friends I have ever had, you may remember her from many of my other post's, she is my boyfriends sister and i am so grateful for the relationship God has given us. She is an exceedingly talented artist; always inspiring me. Even More inspiring they her lovely artwork, is her love For the Lord, and how she seeks to serve God in everything she does.
This lovely dear just left for uganda africa about a week and 1/2 ago, I miss her dearly already. Lindsay is in Uganda to serve a school/orphanage called Victor’s Junior Christian School in Mukono, Uganda. here is a quote from lindsay regarding what her and her friend Carly Batten are doing. "Our primary goal there will be to develop and run a discipleship program for 60 to 100 Ugandan girls who are transitioning from mid school to high school. I will to serve help them reach their fullest God given potential by being a friend, coach and maybe the only caring adult in their lives and to help them develop spiritually, socially, and succeed academically as they make their lives a testament to the power of Christ’s love."
be praying for dear lindsay and Carly, God is going to do something very wonderful through them :)

Such a loveable land to me" -Leslie Feist

I love the moon so very much! it has inspired has inspired much of my art work, here are three examples.
these pieces are all brand new to cyber space, i think they like it here.

all of these pieces are school projects, but they are so personal to me, i love that my classes are so flexible :)

Through The Looking glass

so i'm back from my lovely four day weekend in poway with the wonderful Laliberte family. I had a wonderful time :) made granola, went thrifting and had frozen yogurt with lovely lindsay. got my first pedicure with Kei, Lindsay and Allison. I had a blast with zach as always. i care for him more and more each and every day i spend with him. he is such a blessing.

I also saw Alice! which I loved! I know not everyone was thrilled with the film, but i rather enjoyed it. It was different then i thought, not as weird or creepy, and much more predictable. it was simple, and i am glad of that. Its nice to just sit back and be entertained by the beauty tim burton created. Oh and it was beautiful! i loved the costumes, the mixture of animation and live action. the whole feel of the film was brilliant. if you have not seen it i think you should.
we did dress up by the way. we did not take any pictures, but carissa gallo recently posted photos from our december shoot based on alice in wonderland.

so we kinda looked like that :) without the pretty set :)
